Another one bites the dust!

Another one bites the dust!

We want to make our customers aware that LME, Inc (formerly known as Lakeville Motor Express) a player in the Midwest regional trucking market, ceased operations suddenly on Thursday, July 11, 2019. Posted on their website today, “Effective immediately LME will no longer be accepting any pickups”. It is the second LTL regional trucking bankruptcy and fifth nationally for the year.

Fortunately, for Sunset and our customers, no shipments are currently in transit with LME.

That being said, Sunset Transportation has one of the most diverse LTL carrier portfolios in the industry and pricing with carriers, both regional and national, who service the Midwest that are available today for all customers to use. Let us be the right size 3PL for you.
