Sunset’s National Sales Director Sarah Eggleston joined the FreightWaves Check Call podcast, hosted by Mary O’Connell, to discuss Sunset’s prospecting strategy and honing in on what the customer really needs.
“We spend so much time in the sales process and in implementation and onboarding, we absolutely are in it for the long haul and we want to make sure that we’ve done enough work on the front end to ensure it’s a good fit for Sunset and the customer,” Eggleston says.
Sunset offers tailored services to the customer’s individual needs and takes a consulting approach when working on a solution plan. Eggleston continues, “Our customers hire us to be the logistics expert for them, so we approach it in more of a consulting manner versus just moving your freight from point A to point B. We always have our customers best interest in mind when we’re proposing new solutions or any type of continuous improvement projects.“
