*Update provided in English and Spanish.
After the inevitable blow in imports and exports caused by COVID-19, the most important commercial border for Mexico recovers its rhythm at the beginning of this year.
There has been a significant rise in demand that includes the movement of new cargo, as well as the movement of delayed cargo, taken up now by exporters.
As expected, the gap between NB and SB did not ease in the fourth quarter of 2020. For the full year, the gap reached 44% compared to 34.5% in 2019.
