Jim Williams Named Entrepreneur of the Year Regional Finalist

Sunset Transportation Founder Recognized in 2011 Ernst & Young Awards

ST. LOUIS, MO—Sunset Transportation’s Founder and CEO Jim Williams was named a Central Midwest Finalist in the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. The prestigious program celebrates leaders who are building successful, growing businesses regionally, nationally and globally in more than 140 cities and 50 countries.

Williams was nominated for the award by Enterprise Bank and was selected by an independent judging panel made up of previous winners of the award, leading CEOs, private capital investors and other regional business leaders. Williams was honored at a program in Kansas City.

Williams is known as an upstanding businessperson of impeccable character who loves to help others grow their businesses. He founded Sunset Transportation in 1989 and is continuing to create jobs and improve our community. Based in St. Louis, Sunset Transportation has grown rapidly, adding new staff and recently purchasing to a larger headquarters building.
