Jose Minarro featured in Estrategia Aduanera August issue

Showcasing Sunset’s latest cross-border service offering, and newest branch office now open in Laredo, Texas, Managing Director Jose Minarro was interviewed by the popular Mexican logistics publication, Estrategia Aduanera (Customs Strategy) in the August 2019 edition. 

Jose’s experience in US/MX customs is an exciting addition to the Sunset family, and the text found below is the interview translation.

Question from ES:  Does Sunset have strategic alliances?

Answer from Jose Minarro: 

We have alliances with distribution and customs brokers nationwide, as well as a network of freight forwarders in Asia and Europe that enable us to provide ocean and air freight solutions.

In the United States, we have a network of agents who work with Sunset outside of the branch network, allowing us to secure even more capacity nationwide.

Contamos con alianzas con empresas almacenadoras y de servicios de agencia aduanal a nivel nacional en México. Así como también una red de freight forwarders en Asia y Europa que nos permiten ofrecer servicios de carga aérea y marítima.

En Estados Unidos contamos con una red de agentes, además de nuestras oficinas propias que al utilizar nuestra misma plataforma tecnológica incrementan nuestra capacidad de encontrar transportistas en todo el país.

Q:  What type of certifications back the level of Sunset’s services?

A:  Sunset is a proud member of the US 3PL advocacy organization called Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), which serves as the benchmark of ethics and professional conduct.  We hold the following certifications and memberships:

Q:  What is big challenge Sunset is facing?
