Jose Minarro named to Main Advisors in Foreign Trade list by Estrategia Aduanera

Managing Director Jose Minarro has been named to a national list of top foreign trade advisors, who have been chosen by their achievements, experience, character and preserving the rule of law around Mexican foreign trade development. Jose oversees three (3) Sunset branches, located in Laredo, Texas; Nuevo Laredo, Mexico; and Queretaro, Mexico. This list is issued yearly on behalf of Estrategia Aduanera, a national, subscriber-based Mexican trade publication.

The dedication and excellence these advisors demonstrate day after day, reflected in their professional successes and vast trajectory, is crucial to the economic growth of Mexico. Foreign trade in Mexico represents more than 60% of the GDP, which forces advisors to become true strategic allies; to address the complexity of foreign trade, work to avoid costly fines and wasted time.

It has been a year where planning is surrounded by uncertainty, due to the foreign trade conditions that prevail in Mexico and the United States, says Minarro.

“Despite the uncertainty we’ve all faced in 2020, I am pleased to have been selected by my peers and those who find my business acumen to be on par with the best of the best in international trade.”

Sunset is extremely proud to share Jose’s achievement, as selection is indicative of key foreign trade advisors who are committed to developing and implementing successful strategies that help make Customs work more efficient.

Sunset’s Texas and Mexico offices provide transportation management, TMS and capacity solutions, MX/US customs brokerage services and clearance, warehousing, and transloading access to create a comprehensive solution for both northbound and southbound cross-border shipments. Our services on the border allow us to manage customers’ international shipments with complete supply chain visibility and control, from start to finish, including customs expertise unparalleled in the US/MX 3PL space.
