Sunset joins Salesforce and INC Magazine for July Webinar

Sunset was recently invited to speak on a late July Salesforce webinar, “The Big Shift: How to Thrive in a New Era of Business”, powered by INC. 5000. Over 600 companies dialed in to hear Tracy Meetre, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Sunset Transportation, and Enrique Ortegon, Senior Vice President of SMB Sales at Salesforce, discuss how to fuel growth, deepen relationships, and build a culture of change while the world navigates this “new normal” due to COVID-19.

Tracy Meetre

When asked how Sunset has adapted to changes, particularly when it comes to culture, Meetre responds: “We’ve made it a focus over the last 4 years. We invest a significant amount in our teams and in our company culture; investing in our employees, listening to [them], making changes based on what we’re hearing.” She adds, “Our team members are our assets.”

Having a strong culture allows for employees to feel recognized and connected, despite the recent change in workplace scenery due to the pandemic.

Additionally, Sunset has put an emphasis on leveraging technology to deliver our cultural promises to customers, as well as our employees. Utilizing Salesforce, Pardot, and Social Studio to automate key metrics in a customer’s journey has allowed our team to focus more time on cultivating relationships.

She adds, “As an organization, your approach to technology and your customers does not have to be stuffy. Introduce creativity. People are going to do business with people they like, they trust, and they feel engaged with. Don’t be afraid to try new things.” Meetre concludes, “If we’re not pushing and trying new things, we’re not growing.”
